Are Psychics Real
Thousands of people today claim to have supernatural
powers and psychic abilities. Many of those people are in some way benefiting
from their "abilities." Some get filthy rich, some earn enough to pay
their bills. It's a big industry, where a lot of wild claims
are made, but remain unproven.
So, let's get to the question that's on everyone's
mind: Are psychics real or are they all low life scammers?
Well, that's a matter of opinion, and in this article
I'm going to give you mine. Yes, I believe psychics are real, meaning they
do exist and may work as professionals to earn their living. After
all, if you had a rare gift that could earn you a decent income
wouldn't you take advantage of that?
However, I also believe that most psychic readers
are absolute frauds who will tell you what they want you to hear,
then take your money. This isn't exclusive to the psychic and supernatural
industry; though. Unfortunately, you'll probably run into these
types of people no matter what your interests are.
It's hard to determine which psychics are real and
which ones are faking it, because there are no standards they have
to meet in order to be called a professional psychic.
It's nothing like being a policeman or lifeguard.
It's not uncommon for someone who desperately needs
money to take a psychic chat line operator job or even start their
own fortune telling business. Many psychic chat lines are run by companies
that own adult chat lines. They're always looking for workers because most
of them pay their operators according to how long they keep their
customer on the phone. I don't believe it' much different in the world of online
psychic chats.
Also keep in mind that not all fake psychics
are lying to take your money. Some will give you entertaining stories just
because they like the attention. These people are usually referred to as pathological
liars. They have serious mental issues that need to
be resolved.
Because there are no licenses awarded to legitimate
psychics, it can be a long and difficult process to find a trusted
psychic to give you readings. The best way to choose a reader is to get the
opinion of a trusted friend who has experience with various readers.
Chances are, however, that you might not have any
recommendations to go by. Luckily, you're allowed to ask psychics whatever
you want about their business, before you have to pay to get a reading
done.
So, ask away! Ask them to give you testimonials or referrals.
Ask them how long they have been doing this and if they've ever
been stumped during a reading.
Real psychics will give credible and realistic answers.
Fake psychics might try to dodge your questions or make themselves
look too good to be true.
Go with a psychic that makes you feel comfortable
and at ease. Observe your psychic reading sessions.
Does your reader make highly unrealistic claims all the time?
Does your reader ask way too many questions for the powers they
claim to have?
Trust your intuition
and don't be afraid to end sessions if you feel the need to.
Legitimate psychics will never try to pressure or scare you, so
avoid those that do. |
